Kum. Swetha Narasimhan - Violin
Swetha Narasimhan is a senior student of Late Smt. Gowri Ramakrishnan, from whom she was privileged to learn for 16 years. Swetha started learning violin at the age of 6 from Dr. Narayan Raman in Indianapolis, and was taught by several violinists, including Shri. Purnachander Rao, Trichy Shri. Sathyamurthy, and Smt. Lalgudi Vijayalakshmi. She enjoys playing for Carnatic vocal, instrumental, Bharathanatyam, and Kuchipudi programs around the country and in India. Swetha works to support the growth and development of public school educators in Philadelphia.
Shri. Srihari Raman - Mridangam
Srihari S Raman was born into a musical lineage, with his recent ancestry consisting of his uncle, Kalaimamani Dr. Udayalur Kalyanarama Bhagavathar. Srihari was introduced into the journey of Carnatic Music at the age of 4. Srihari continued his advanced training in mridangam under Kalaimamani Guru. Sri. Tiruvarur Vaidyanathan. Srihari has accompanied many esteemed vidwans within the United States, Canada, and India as well. He has also won multiple competitions across the US, such as the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana and Sangeeth Samraat. Srihari will be a rising sophomore in Northeastern University majoring in Data Science and Business Administration in the coming Fall 2022.


Dr. Shri. Ravi Iyer - Ghatam
Dr. Ravi Iyer has received training on the Mridangam from Sri Madurai Shanmugam Pillai and Sri Trichy Raghava Iyer at Bharatiya Vidhya Bhavan in Mumbai. He experiments his percussion techniques on other instruments such as Ghatam. He has accompanied several musicians in India and abroad. He specializes in playing for bhajans and has accompanied reputed artists visiting from India. Ravi does not confine himself only to classical music. He has performed several fusion concerts with Hindustani and Western percussion instruments and regularly features in world music festival and national folk festivals hosted every year across the US. Ravi recently performed in “the 28th Lotus World Music and Arts Festival”, one of the oldest world music festivals in Bloomington, Indiana. He teaches and mentors students interested in the art of Mridangam and rhythm. He currently works as a Senior Director and health economics and outcomes researcher at Teva pharmaceuticals in West Chester.
